On a serious note, former NUHW staff member Jason Campbell was killed in an accident in Nigeria, where he has been working for the AFL-CIO's Solidarity Center.No more details are known about how this tragedy occurred, but Jason will be sorely missed by NUHW members, staff and volunteers. Jason had worked with Southern California Kaiser Professionals after they had joined NUHW.
He was remembered by NUHW staff this way, "He was greatly loved by all of us. There was no more dedicated and honorable person in NUHW or the labor movement. His work with NUHW professionals and service/tech/clerical (workers) set an example for us all who work and struggle for the rights of workers...He truly loved NUHW."
