SEIU's Dave Regan and John August Prepare for Last Hurrah at the Disneyland Hotel

With the Kaiser ballot count just hours away, Tasty has learned that Dave Regan and John August will be holding what may be the final multi-million-dollar junket for the "partnership" unions this weekend!

The venue for the three-day shindig says it all… Disneyland!

From May 3-5, Regan, August and Kaiser Permanente CEO Bernard Tyson will be kickin' it with Mickey, Goofy and Donald Duck as they spend millions of dollars of workers’ Partnership Taxes on poolside parties, live music, happy hours, and endless rides on the Matterhorn.

Who will be attending this three-day bash?

Apparently, Regan has hand-picked approximately 200 of his favorite SEIU-UHW "Contract Specialists" and shop stewards for this all-expenses-paid trip... along with lots of SEIU staffers.

Here's how the Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions (CKPU) describes one party (see image below):
Party Time! The party kicks-off at 6:30pm on Friday, May 3rd in the Disneyland South Exhibit Hall (Fantasy Tower). A good time will be had by all as we dance through the decades and today's hottest music!... Light hors d'oeuvres will be served...

On Friday morning, Kaiser’s incoming CEO Bernard Tyson will deliver a speech in the Disneyland Hotel's Fantasy Tower! In 21st-century-union style, the partnership unions will allow Tyson -- a multi-millionaire -- to push his “the Boss is poor” message on the assembled Kaiser workers.

Here's how an agenda describes Tyson's speech: "Tyson offers his view of partnership... particularly as we face the demands of health care reform." The latter phrase is Kaiser/SEIU's codeword for their laughable claim that Kaiser is somehow facing tough times ahead... and that workers need to eliminate their pensions and cut their health benefits "to save Kaiser."

B/t/w, Tasty has posted below a 16-page "annotated agenda" for the three-day conference, with details on the speakers, etc.

CEO Tyson -- with apparent inspiration from Pinocchio -- will undoubtedly refuse to mention Kaiser's $8.7 billion in profits or the eight separate pension plans that he receives from Kaiser! Here's Tyson's pay stub for a two-week period... when he pocketed $805,422!

As Dave Regan and John August spend millions of Partnership Taxes at Disneyland, Tasty hears there's growing anger among Kaiser's workers about the newly imposed tax -- especially among members of SEIU-UHW and OPEIU. That's why spending a gazillion dollars of workers' Partnership Taxes for a bash at Disneyland is such a genius move!

Lastly, readers may recall that during last year's partnership junket in Hollywood, the partnership unions conducted their infamous 21st-century "flashmob strike."

This time, SEIU apparently plans to unveil another bold and innovative strategy for rebuilding the U.S. labor movement:  a formal partnership between Goofy and 'Contract Buddy'!

So... let's get this Kaiser ballot count started! Time to get rid of these corrupt fools!

More SEIU Staffers Take Fun-Filled Detours in Kaiser Election

It turns out that Aryeh Alex isn’t the only SEIU staffer who managed to squeeze lots of fun-filled adventure into his “deployment” to California for the Kaiser election. Check these pictures from Valarie Bachelor, a Political Assistant who works at SEIU's headquarters in Washington, DC.

Here's how Valarie's adventure begins...

It was a frigid 23 degrees when Valarie departed D.C. for California in January. Valarie writes: “Freezing my ass off!”

Here’s a pic of Valarie clutching her plane ticket for her escape to sunny California. She writes: “On my way to Cali!”

Here’s her SEIU-UHW identification badge.

Once in California, Valarie made a beeline for the ocean... where she took a hike along the coast and snapped this picture of the Golden Gate Bridge

On another outing, she snapped this shot of the sun setting over the Pacific Ocean. She writes: “Enjoying the sunset at Golden Gate State Park with wine and baklava.”

Next, Valarie posted this pic of a giant beer with this message: “Let the weekend begin!”

…hiking on Mt. Tamalpais in Marin County

…a trip to Napa Valley for some wine tasting

Valarie loves oysters in San Francisco. “I’m in oyster heaven!”

She also like burgers

…and Giants games at San Francisco’s baseball park

…and going to international soccer matches between Mexico and Peru

…and sunny afternoons in San Francisco’s Dolores Park

…and getting her nails done (in red!)

…and taquerias in San Francisco’s Mission District (that's Valarie in the mariachi cut-out!)

…and house parties in San Francisco. She says these three guys were “My band for the night!” You go, girl!

…and white wine

…and red wine (Hmm... ever heard of a wine called "The Slammer?" Sounds perfect for Valarie!)

…and oyster shooters

Most of all, Valarie says she's gonna miss the stunning hikes through California's mountains. Valarie writes: “Def gonna miss this come May!”

Well, that's the end of Valarie's California adventure... at least for the moment. A special thanks to the Purple Palace for giving Valarie this wonderful opportunity... and for carefully spending bucketfuls of SEIU members' dues on Valarie's airfare, hotel, rental car, food budget, etc!

SEIU Staffer Takes Detour during Kaiser Election

Are you a Kaiser worker who waited patiently for Pushy Purple People to knock on your door… but they never actually showed up?

If so… Tasty may have an explanation.

It turns out that many of the SEIU staffers who parachuted into California were totally star-struck by the Golden State… and got tied up by a bit of sight-seeing on the way to your house!

How does Tasty know this?

Luckily, the SEIU staffers carefully documented their extra-curricular activities with tons of pics on the internet.

Check out these pictures from Aryeh Alex, one of SEIU’s “Political Capacity Organizers.” Aryeh normally works in Columbus, Ohio -- where it was 25 degrees and snowing when he jetted to California for the Kaiser election.

Here’s a picture of Aryeh in Ohio, where last year he pocketed a salary of $103,391 from the Purple Palace:

And here’s Aryeh in California:

Notice the difference!

Here’s a pic of Aryeh with his SEIU-UHW identification badge, which gave him access to Kaiser Santa Clara Medical Center.

B/t/w, Aryeh is a big fan of Contract Buddy!

Aryeh was super impressed by the slogan: "Orange you glad..." They don't think of that kind of stuff in Ohio!

And here are some pictures from Aryeh’s sight-seeing visits with his ladyfriend...

...to the Golden Gate Bridge

...to Santa Cruz Beach

...to Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco

...to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk

...to Elephant Seal Beach

...to the Hilton Hotel for wine tasting in Sonoma County!

...to Ano Nuevo State Beach

...to Big Basin Redwoods State Park

...to Treasure Island

...to Google's headquarters

 Whew! Tasty is f*cking exhausted.

So what was Aryeh's favorite moment during his California adventure?

He def'ly enjoyed all the sight-seeing... but he says he absolutely loved “the daily access to the hotel gym and elliptical. Guess I’m getting a gym membership when I get home in a few days.” Hey Kaiser workers, thanks for paying all that dues money so Aryeh could have a super incredible hotel stay... and California adventure.

In case you're wondering why Aryeh is sooo thrilled by all this stuff, here's a hint. In his younger days, Aryeh was a "civil war reenactor." SEIU sure knows how to pick 'em!
