Check out this tape-recording of Dave Regan as he responds
to a question from an SEIU-UHW shop steward during an invitation-only conference
call on February 27, 2013. The Kaiser Permanente worker asks Regan what she’s
supposed to say to co-workers when they question her about SEIU-UHW’s lousy
worksite representation.
Amazingly, Regan claims there are no problems with
SEIU-UHW’s representation! Guess he’s not listening to the shop stewards who complained
that Kaiser is firing record numbers of SEIU-UHW’s members! One steward says: “Kaiser
is out to weed out anyone they don’t appreciate.” Another steward says: “They
are terminating more than they ever have.” (You can listen to the stewards in

Next, Regan trots out an even smellier serving of bullsh*t. He
says SEIU-UHW is doing a fantastic job at representation because “representation”
is when workers collect their paychecks every two weeks! Tasty is not kidding.
